WeebRate has a permanent home. The site is open, everything on it is free, and you do not need an account to look around.

What you can do here

The catalogue covers tens of thousands of titles, updated daily from AniList, with cover art, episode counts, studios, air dates and synopses. On top of that sits everything the community makes.

  • Rate and review anything you have watched, and keep a watchlist that tracks what you are part-way through.
  • Vote on cross-universe character matchups and post the argument for your side.
  • Build tier lists, share them, and watch people disagree in the replies.
  • Rank character power levels and see where the community lands.
  • Read in-depth guides written for the site rather than scraped from anywhere.

Signed out is a real experience

Every review, tally, tier list and guide is readable without signing in. The prompt appears when you try to vote or rate, not when you arrive.

An account gets you the things that genuinely need one: your own ratings and watchlist, XP and badges, notifications, and recommendations based on what you have scored.

What is coming

Power rankings are the next substantial piece of work. The page exists but the ranking backend behind it does not yet, so it currently shows an empty state rather than pretending otherwise.

Beyond that: better recommendations, more guides, and more matchups on the card each week.

Frequently asked

Is WeebRate free?
Yes, entirely. There is no subscription tier and no card required to sign up.
Where does the anime data come from?
Catalogue data — titles, art, episode counts, studios, air dates, synopses — comes from the AniList API. Ratings, reviews, tier lists, votes and arguments are created here.
